It sounded like NieR sometimes and it sounded like past DOD games sometimes. I can't say I ever felt like DOD3's OST was consistent. Even when there are deviations from the typical music, it still feels like it all belongs to the same album. In the end, both games have OSTs that create one solid and consistent sound. Is it electric rock? Experimental orchestra? Gregorian-esque? Transformational ballads? Of course, it's all of that but it never comes together to feel like one product.Ĭonversely, NieR Gestalt/Replicant really blows any other OST out of the water, though, and NieR Automata is just as beautiful but not as perfect as NieR Gestalt/Replicant. Good thing I managed to find the track so quickly, even though initially I had no idea where to start looking. It's frantic which matches the Drakengard/Drag-On Dragoon series but it also means that the OST doesn't know what it is. OH MY GOD, this is really good for me not to notice my second favourite song of Drakengards OST, I must say thank you for letting me know about these things xd Glad to be of help. Overall, though? It's a very weak OST brought down by the lack of cohesion. Does anyone know where I can download or listen to the dlc ost There are still some up on youtube but theyre either low quality or only have vocal versions of the songs. There are definitely some amazing stand-outs in DOD3 like Kuroi Uta, Final Song, This Silence is Mine, Descendeus, Aethervox, and of course the iconic Exhausted. Drakengard 3, known in Japan as Drag-On Dragoon 3, is an action role-playing video game developed by Access Games and published by Square Enix exclusively for PlayStation 3.It is the third and final main game in the Drakengard series and a prequel to the original game.
